Klings Kangwa’s fine form in his first three months in Serbia

Zambian midfielder Klings Kangwa seems to have settled well in Serbia following his switch from Arsenal Tula in Russia just three months ago.

The Happy Hearts product is believed to have cost the Serbian giants €800,000 (over K14 million) which seems to be money well spent for the Red-Whites.

The Zambian international penned a 4 year contract with FK Crvena Zvezda from Russian outfit, Arsenal Tula in July.

The 22-year-old is among the highest-rated U-23 players in the Serbian Superliga.

Kangwa has the third highest ball recovery rate among U-23 players in the Serbian top tier league with 2.17. FK Çukariçki defensive midfielder Nikola Perkoviç leads the table in ball recoveries among U-23 players with 3.21 average actions.

Kangwa has the fifth-best dribbles among U-23 players 1.35 in the Serbian League.

The youngster was amazing for his former team Arsenal Tula, especially in his final season, and was named as the player of the season

The Zambian midfield dynamo also completed the most dribbles in the Russian top flight 73/99 – 74% in the 2021/2022 season.

Kangwa is well known for his great passing game and it’s no surprise that he is the player with the most successful passes into the final third among U-23 players in the Serbian League.

Kangwa averages 21.25 passes into the final third every match for his side Red Star Belgrade.

Kangwa has managed four goals and three assists in 17 appearances for Crvena Zvezda in all competitions.
