Klings Kangwa: It’s good to be back in the national team

Chipolopolo midfield ace Klings Kangwa has expressed happiness with his return to the national team set up after missing the back-to-back Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers against Algeria and Zimbabwe earlier this year.

Kangwa believes there is no time to rest and relax but just time to work hard. He is confident all the players summoned will give their best for the country.

The 22 year old Arsenal Tula midfielder went on to say that his club had a bad season as they battled relegation until the final day of the season.

“It is always good to be back with the National team , We have a huge task of preparing for World Cup qualifiers, It is also good for me, personally as the league has ended in Russia and am starting training , We don’t have time to relax and rest , so it’s time to push and work hard,” he said.

“These are important games for us as we try to consolidate our team, we have to be serious and give every thing in each and every game, And am sure every player here is ready to give their best and for the country.”

“We had a very bad season, we were fighting relegation but thank God we survived,” he added.

The former Happy Hearts and Buildcon midfielder also went on to ask fans to keep supporting the team even during their bad patches.

“We ask for the support from the fans, Without the support from the fans ot will be difficult for us. In football we have three results so you can’t always win but we ask that they keep supporting us even during the bad times,” he said.

The Chipolopolo Boys will face Senegal in an international friendly match on June 5th, Benin on June 8th and then they are expected to proceed to Omdurman to play Sudan on June 10.
