Kelvin Mubanga Kampamba alias Kemuka has returned to training with his Club ZESCO United after weeks of uncertainty following a falling out with the club.
Kampamba was on the outs with the club after he and two other senior players allegedly asked about CAF Confederation Cup group stage bonuses.
The club in a statement says they engaged in an open dialogue and have sorted out the recent issues surrounding the former Nkana and Power Dynamos player.
“We’re pleased to confirm that Kelvin “Kemuka” Kampamba is back in the fold. After recent issues, the club management has engaged in an open dialogue with the player and technical team, anchored in our belief that success comes through unity.”- Reads part of a statement from ZESCO United.
“We’re delighted to report that the matter has been resolved amicably – and Kelvin is scheduled to re-join the squad in training today. We call on all fans to welcome him with the same passion and support he’s always received.

According to the Zambia Daily Mail Newspaper, Kampamba was dropped from the ZESCO United squad for requesting to know how much players would earn in the group stage of the CAF Confederation Cup.
ZESCO are guaranteed $400,000 (over K9.1 million) for reaching the group stage of the Confederation Cup.
