Kapumbu moves to Petah Tikva 

Zesco United midfielder  Kelvin Kapumbu has signed for  Israeli second tier side Hapoel Petah Tikva. 

Kapumbu has penned a one-year deal with an option of a further year.

Kapumbu will join the new teammates after the 2024 Cosafa Cup. He is currently in South Africa with the national team. 

The former Zanaco midfielder missed Sunday’s 2-0 defeat to Zimbabwe as Zambia bowed out of the tournament.

“I’m happy to start a new chapter in my career and join Hapoel Petah Tikva. Looking forward to meeting my new teammates and starting work,” Kapumbu said.

  1. The plan of putting this local players over the regular starters in foreign leagues is this that hese players get contracts hence fashions starmtement was correct afterall . Kamanga making his profits after all.

    Started with players like charles zulu, boyd mkandawire, zachariah chilongoshi and nany more, benson sakala. Some flopped whilst other got their contracts.

    Kamanga must go!!
