Chipolopolo coach Aljosa Asanovic has named a youthful 20 member squad for Wednesday’s All-Stars vs the Rest-friendly match.
Kafue Celtic in-form star forward Albert Kangwanda leads the list and is expected to start upfront on Wednesday.
Kangwanda has been in fine form in the league netting 11 goals for the Crocs.
U-20 stars Joshua ‘Budo’ Mutale, Golden Mashata, Miguel Chaiwa and Derrick Bulaya have all been summoned for the match.
Asanovic has also called veteran Zesco United trio Simon Silwimba, Fackson Kapumbu and Donashamo Malama.
Wednesday’s match which will take place at Nkana Stadium will be a chance for Asanovic to asses the local players and pick those who will be part of the Chipolopolo squad that is set to play two international friendly matches on March 25 and 29 in Paris.
Zambia will face South Africa and Guinea as part preparations for the June round of the Ivory Coast 2023 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers.
