Janza: We are not afraid to get a bad result because we are building

Honour Janza’s reaction after Zambia beat Ethiopia 1 – 0 in Addis Ababa –

“Thank you Ethiopia for giving us this friendly. Matches between our two teams have never been easy. I vividly remember in 2013 we were together in the same group in Afcon.”

“When we came here we knew that it won’t be easy. Both teams are preparing for qualifiers next week so it was not an easy game.

“We are just happy that Ethiopia gave us a tough game. You could see our boys had to fight to get a goal.

“For me I think we always had a good game with Ethiopia. We have never had a simple game.

“We now have a new team because we had to start rebuilding following our 2012 Afcon triumph.

“Nonetheless you can not go on and on with the same players we have to rebrand. It’s a process. You have to be patient. You can not make players in a day. We are still developing them.

  1. Coach Janza is talking too much these days!!sometimes its better to keep quiet and let results talk for you!!Ethopia is not big team like Ghana,Ivory Coast,Nigeria,Cameroon,Tunisia etc so his Chipolopolo team must be beating strong teams then make noise and not teams like Ethopia,Malawi etc. Moreover next saturday will be his biggest game bcoz Guinea Bissau has take Cape Verde route of getting players from Spain,Portugal,Brazil.meaning this team will be hard to beat!!

    • That “patience” of Ba Janza is kind of annoying. It is not Janza to train players, they already know how to play. The think is TACTICS.
      – Danny mu goal, never ever Mweene again, he should join the technical bench.
      – Kondwani partnering Munthali
      – Katebe ku 2
      – Kapumbu ku 3
      – Nathan with Chisamba pa middle (trending formation)
      – Kalaba na Lubambo mu ma wings
      – Mayuka na Allan Mukuka sprinting up front.
Chintu stand pa touch-line, is it a law that only coach should cheer players?

Don’t hire coach, we are here to help Janza.

  2. We ve been rebuilding since the Gabon disaster tell us somethin new 4rm yo many excuses( eye opener, learning process, rebuilding) maybe our players r too short.

  3. Rebuilding with granpas like Mtonga,Jackson,Malama and for how long are we going to be rebuilding.Even a wife in marriage rebuilding for that long I can assure you Janza she will leave you.The best also we should come up with many academies to be breathing on the necks of the current players without that ,we will be “rebuilding and learning from the likes of Malawi,Namibia and now Ethiopia “until eternity.

  4. Bena ba Janza do not want to just shut up,we will tell thatBob Mukosha to recruit him in his comedy company because that is what Janza has turned himself in,a comedian not a football coach or Caf instructor or Uefa what ever what ever.

  5. It’s comments like this from Janza that makes the Chipolopolo fan base mad. How can you be rebuilding all the time? And why say that you’re not afraid of getting bad result? This bad attitude of embracing mediocrity is what we don’t want. The earlier we remove this guy the better.

  6. There should be a time limit to the team rebuilding process. I would liken this rebuilding process to a Project. It must be completed within a specific period of time (start and end date), within budget and with specific objectives and goals, e.g. qualifying to afcon, world cup, etc. Not CNP kind of arrangement where you’re constantly rebuilding. From the time we won the AFCON in 2012, if we were serious enough, we would have a strong squad by now.

  7. Janza must leave our precious mighty chipolopolo alone.Ba Ethiopia sure ebo uleyumfwilapo ati rebuilding!!!rubbish janza

  8. Janza should also acknowledge that, the current team have 70% of the 2012 wining team. This is ultimate useless excuse. We never started building from scratch like the time we lost our heroes in 1993. We are not happy of Janza and Kalusha for the following reasons (1) A coach needs to know what kind of players you would call to execute the mission, he has left out Kola and Jacob Mulenga. (2) we need a coach who would have the capacity to a wining formula, not Icipante pante. (3) Janza can’t find a good combination. Look at Messi and Neymar. They are physically small in size but very intelligent on the ball. As such we could definitely produce such kind of players. (4) can’t read the game and make supersub on Kalush poor management skills.he should relocate to Lusaka not leaving in South Africa and at the same time running the FA.(6) poor travel arrangements how do you expect the team to win? I just hope we won’t experience the same in the coming qualifiers.

  9. Could someone please tell this guy to just stop talking!!!

Proverbs 17:28 ► Even fools are thought wise when they keep silent; with their mouths shut, they seem intelligent.

  10. This guy is very irritating he seem not to care about the feelings of the fans. What is FAZ saying about the hiring of the new coach? Government has given a go ahead what are they doing? They should inform us about they process.

  11. One of the WORST coaches to have ever coached in the NATIONAL team in 50 years! It’s good that he has been FIRED!

  12. FAZ listens to what i say on this blog. I’ll continue to offer checks and balances and call a spade a spade and not a big spoon!
