Chipolopolo stand-in coach Aggrey Chiyangi says this afternoon’s match against eSwatini will not be easy for his team.
Speaking ahead of the match at the Mavuso Sports Complex in Manzini during the Prematch conference, Chiyangi said he has observed there were too many expectations and desire from the eSwatini team following their elimination from the World Cup Qualifiers and would like to make amends by Qualifying to the African Nations Championship (CHAN)
“We know that it is not going to be an easy game because we have seen the expectations and the desire that eSwatini have to make history to qualify,” Chiyangi said.
Chiyangi said the Chipolopolo Boys have worked to ensure that they pick up a positive result away in eSwatini in today’s encounter. He further said his team was ready for the first leg final round qualifier against the hosts in Manzini.
“At the same time we have also worked very hard, we want to qualify for the tournament and make sure that we do well. Otherwise the team is ready to play against eSwatini.”
Chiyangi said he will not be carried by the favorites tag in today’s encounter stressing that most teams have worked hard and improved in most aspects of the game. The Chipolopolo coach says his charges will have to account well for themselves on the field of play.
“In today’s football there is nothing like favorites, most teams have done a lot of work, they have improved and the best way you can do is to go and apply yourselves on the pitch,” Chiyangi said.
“For u,s we are not counting ourselves favorites. The only thing we have to do is make sure that we face them and apply ourselves in the right way.”
Zambia and eSwatini will square off this afternoon at 15:30 at the Mavuso Sports Complex in Manzini in the first leg encounter of the final round of the CHAN 2020 Qualifiers.

Useless coach ! Eswatini should always be easy….. Excuses even before playing. What will make it difficult?
Just tell the boys to win. There is a platform waiting for them to showcase their skills in Cameroun. Don’t tell them its difficult….
We are winning 2:0
