SPORTS Minister, Elvis Nkandu says it is embarrassing for Zambia which is striving to become a sports power in the Southern Region, to be booted out of the COSAFA tournament.
Nkandu says Zambia has in the past years managed to command respect regarding football in the region which should be maintained.
He has encouraged the technical term and players to take any tournament with seriousness it deserves.
Mr. Nkandu further tasked the Technical team to find a lasting solution to the drawback.
The Chipolopolo were booted out of the COSAFA 2025 championship after failing to register a win in two games.
