IT WILL BE A FAIR GAME: JOSEPH MUSONDA

Zesco united will be hoping to re-write history when they lock horns with Nkana FC in this year’s charity shield final at the Arthur Davies stadium in kitwe tomorrow.

Both teams have had a fair chance of glory in the CAF confederation cup but this game will be used as a dress rehearsal of what the fan’s should expect next week during the group stages of the competition.

Speaking to reporters during the charity shield pre-match press conference which was held this morning, Nkana’s defender Joseph Musonda said ” zesco united is a big team with quality players, they have experience having played in continental football the game will be tough but we are prepared

We have been training as a team and the players are ready to play I believe its not about who will be put but it’s about giving hundred percent, so the supporters will enjoy because both teams are playing good football”.

The kitwe giants emerged victorious in 2018 charity shield final which took place at Nkolama stadium in Lusaka, A brace from Ronald sate-sate kampamba and Idris Mbombo earned the wusakile boys bragging rights on that day a match that ended 4-3 in favor of Nkana.
