Chipolopolo head coach Avram Grant has confirmed that his countrymate Marco Balbul will be his assistant Coach.
The 55 year old will join the former Chelsea boss’ technical bench alongside former Nchanga Rangers defender Moses Sichone as assistants.
Sichone was also part of the Aljosa Asanovic technical bench having been appointed to the role 10 months ago.
The former FC Koln, Aachner Turn and Sport Team Alemannia 1900, Offenbacher Soccer Club Kickers 1901 defender was also in charge of the team during the 4-2 International friendly match loss to Isreal.
Former Chipolopolo goalie Davies Phiri bounces back as a divers’ trainer while others are video analyst Ohad Efrat with Jamie Lawrence coming in as physical trainer.
Lawrence is a former Premier League star and served as physical trainer for the Jamaica National Team.
The former Leicester and Bradford City winger served as physical coach in Ghana during the team’s 2015 AFCON silver winning sojourn.
Team Doctor Wesley Ngongo and physiotherapist Hensley Chilimboyi retain their positions.
The technical bench has gotten down to work with the local assemblage of players in Lusaka.
Zambia hosts the Likuena on March 23 at the Levy Mwanawasa Stadium in Ndola before squaring off three days later in Johannesburg at Dobsonville Stadium.
