Is it how they play here in Choma to intimidate coaches ?… As Chris Kaunda fumes after loss to Green Eagles

Sensational Zanaco on Wednesday recorded their first defeat of the season at the hands of Green Eagles in Choma thanks to an Anos Tembo lone goal giving the Kawale Boys a 1-0 win.

Sensational Zanaco boss Chris Kaunda was left frustrated with the match officials as he felt some of the decisions went against his side unfairly.

“First we played well, we made a mistake we gave them the goal, we tried to come back but we had a lot of opposition on the pitch including the referee, if you saw the yellow card which was given to my assistant after asking that foul which was a penalty which if it was them they would have been given, after asking the fourth official to tell us how would you describe that foul? he says coach cool down things have happened then the coach sits down but he calls the referee to come and give a yellow card for that offense,” he said.

“Is it how they play here in choma to frustrate coaches and players? you can’t win the league like this, anyway it’s too early they will come let’s develop football both referees and the teams.”

“I don’t have a problem with Green Eagles but I have a problem with the referee’s no wonder all the coaches complain here about such kind of things, it does not require a blind person to see that, that is a penalty,” he added.

The Bankers will now have to shift their focus to their next game as they host tricky High Flying Nkwazi at Sunset Stadium in a Lusaka derby.

“We shift our focus to the next game we are playing Nkwazi on Sunday that’s our next game, we don’t mind about this game its gone we will meet them when they come to Lusaka,” he said.

The Bankers are sixth on the log with three points after two rounds of matches.
