Defender Rodrick Kabwe has joined Iraqi side Zakho Sports Club.
Kabwe was released by South African side Sekhukhune United at the expiry of his contract in June.
Zakho SC have highlighted the former Chifubu Bullets midfielder versitility as one key reasons why they signed.
He started out as a winger and then dropped to midfield.
Kabwe is also comfortable at left back.
The 30 year old is currently the Chipolopolo Boys Vice Captain and featured in all the five matches in the CAF 2023 African Cup of Nations qualifiers.
In 2009, he was part of the Honour Janza coach Zambia Under-20 which lifted the regional Cosafa Cup.
Following his performance at the Cosafa Youth Championship, then on the books of Chifubu Bullets, Rodrick together with Stanley Nshimba, White Mwanabamba and Stephen Kabamba travelled to Russia for trials in January.
He then joined Forest Rangers before spells at Zanaco and Kabwe Warriors.
Kabwe then went abroad and had spells in South Africa. He played for Ajax Cape Town and Black Leopards.
