Injury Cuts short Tandi Mwape’s season

ZESCO United defender Tandi Mwape’s season has come to an end after he sustained a serious injury. 

The Chipolopolo defender suffered a ruptured anterior cruciate ligament, his club, ZESCO United has confirmed. 

Mwape will hence miss the Chipolopolo Boys trip to Russia for the International friendly match

Meanwhile striker Freddy Michael is also out with a Hamstring injury sustained against ZANACO, his return date is unknown.

‘TANDI MWAPE: Ruptured anterior cruciate ligament. Unfortunately, Tandi will be out for the rest of the season.’

Forward Amine Hiver is also out injured for the rest of the season. He is recovering from a ruptured anterior cruciate ligament.

 He is expected to return early next season according to a statement by the club.

George Ngoma and Abraham Siankombo are also out with injuries. Ngoma has an Adductor muscle strain and is expected back in ten days while Siankombo is experiencing pain in his left leg.
