Struggling MTN Super League side Indeni Football Club has parted ways with six players including three time ABSA Cup winner Shadreck Malambo.
Malambo is the first player to ever clinch the famous trophy on three occasions with three different clubs.
In 2013, he was part of the triumphant Red Arrows squad, and 5 years later, he won it with Nkana before making it three ABSA Cup wins in 2023 with Fole Malembe.
The other players are Chishimba Changala, Jubell Sakala, Jonathan Tembo, Thompson Sindowe, and Chomba Mulenga.
Indeni has thanked the players for their tireless efforts, dedication, and passion on and off the field of play.
“As we bid farewell to these outstanding individuals, we celebrate not only their impressive skills on the field but also the lasting bonds they have helped forge within our football circle. We are grateful for the memories, the victories and the lessons learned together.
We wish Chishimba, Jubell, Jonathan, Thompson, Chomba and Shadrick all the very best as they embark on their future endeavors and we thank them for being an integral part of the Indeni Football Club family.”
Indeni are currently bottom of the Super League table with just six points after 18 matches.
