Should afcon 2015 goes on, Renard and Patrice are the right coaches to guid Zambia to the tornament.

For me Patrice is far better than Renard. He is very attack minded and i believe had he been around, we would have already qualified by now. look at how he played it against Brazil, 0-0 half time. Brazil had to do multiple subs to find the way through. You can imagin, in that game we didnt have Kalaba, Sunzu, Nathan, Nkhausu, etc. If it wasnt for Nsabata, we would have white washed Japan. The only coach that I think should have a chance of coming back is Paulsen. The man was fired after Zambia finished 3rd in AFCON 96. Then it was all downhill from there, until 2010 Zambia was getting knocked out first Rd or failing to qualify. He also introduced the monthly camping for national team prospects. These guys Patrice and HR have had their time. They were afforded more opportunities than any other coach in Zed and despite their great success, it is time to move on. Even Bonetti, in my opinion was not given a fair opportunity. But anyway, let me drink my tea.

The issue with National Team coaching is that you get what is produced by the mill. The grape vine is the league. So Government should have a strategy of sending all Premier league coaches to either Germany or Brazil and swopping them. So that each coach goes to both countries in the long run.
Football coaching has now become a serious management issue which most of our own cannot achieve.
With the money Renard was getting US $100,000, or US $1, 200,000 per year, a lot of good coaches can come. For the money and for their CV.
Lets assume GRZ employed me as football Coach and starts paying me US$ 15,000 per month. I would read the ZAMFOOT blog for my line up. It is usually proposed freely. We would win all home games and draw one or two games away, qualify to AFCON whatever year, then continue reading ZAMFOOT and using the teams that are proposed freely. Either lose in the preliminaries or with luck go up to the knock out stages, where anything can happen.
People would then say that boy from Kasama is a good coach, yet I was just using you the bloggers to guide me.

PB for me is going places. He needs to just study the African game and he will be fine, one of the top guys in the near future. HR has done his time with us and no coming back. The coaching terrain is rough and he needs to up his game.
I can see what Kalu saw in PB, i think he has more promise than HR, so if one comes back it should be PB and not HR.
But the thing is, i can tell that PB wanted to stay in Zambia, so why didnt he? There were more options than quiting and joining HR like that, PB is not the first or last coach to wait for his pay for 6 months. He had more options but he chose to join another team.
Many of the experienced european coaches in Africa would kill to coach Zambia, and i think they would have handled it differently. Ask Claude LeRoy or Otto Pfister.
