The NFF has allegedly stalled contract talks with Malian coach as ex Zambian coach Herve Renard is ready to take a pay cut.
Renard recently stepped aside from his role as France women’s national team head coach, making him a free agent.
Sources monitoring his situation with the NFF told NPFLUpdates this morning that Renard is considering a pay cut from his initial N250,000,000 asking price.
The Frenchman has coached at the World Cup twice with Saudi Arabia and Morocco.
He led both Zambia and Ivory Coast to the CAF African Cup of Nations triumph in 2012 and 2015.
He is regarded as one of the most successful Frenchman on the continent.
Besides Zambia, Morocco and Ivory Coast, he has also coached Angola as well USM Algiers.
Renard also coached Sochaux and Metz in his native France.
