The former Chipolopolo center forward was a bulldozer and fondly remembered for scoring a brace against Tanzania in the 2004 AFCON qualifiers that sent Independence Stadium into raptures.
Milanzi holds a successful career record of scoring six (6)-goals in the qualifying campaign of the FIFA World Cup.
Ardent followers of the former Nchanga Rangers striker also remember how he gave a spirited fight to score against Mali in a 1-1away draw in an international friendly just before the 2002 AFCON tournament.
In February 2005, Milanzi was handed a suspended six-month ban by the South Africa Football Association (Safa) for failing a drug test.
Milanzi was also fined US$2,500 after traces of marijuana were found in his blood but his ban was suspended because in December 2004 he underwent a rehabilitation program with Zambia’s Drug Enforcement Commission.
