Zambian forward Happy Nsofwa has joined Botswana top flight side Nico United FC, the club has confirmed.
Nsofwa has penned a one year deal with the Botswana outfit.
The 25 year old was part of the 2016 U-20 COSAFA winning side that had the likes of Patson Daka, Enock Mwepu, Fashion Sakala Jnr, Chrispine Sakulanda, Kenneth Kalunga among others.
“Nico United FC are delighted to confirm the signing of 25 year old striker Happy Mwila Nsofwa from Zambia, penning a one-year deal with the club. ✍️
The 25 year old played for Rediants FC, Mufurila FC, Lumwana Rediants FC and City of Lusaka in Zambia .. Nsofwa is also a former National Under 20 player, he was part of the team that won 2016 COSAFA Under 20 Championship and the team that took part in the Under 20 2017 Africa Cup.”
The Mufulira Police product will be hoping to hit the ground running and make a mark in the Botswana Premier League.
