Zambia U-20 Women’s National Team Coach Charles Haalubono has expressed satisfaction over the progress of his lasses currently in camp ahead of the second round 2022 Costa Rica FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup Qualifier against Malawi U-20 Women’s National Team.
The Young Queens will be at home in the first leg on 26th September in Lusaka before traveling to Lilongwe during the weekend of 7-9 October 2021 for the second leg.
Speaking in an interview with the ZamFoot Crew, Haluboono said training is going on well and the technical bench is making sure they enhance bonding and coordination in the team.
“Training has been going on well the girls are responding and we have been trying to bond and play a coordinated game so we are enhancing on that and working extra hard as well as taking advantage of our home ground,” Haluboono said.
The 37-Provisional member squad has been in camp since 4th September and very soon the final list will be unveiled ahead of the Malawi game.
The winner between Zambia and Malawi will face Ghana in the next round after Mauritania pulled out of the Qualifier match against the Black Princesses.
