Two more foreign based players have joined the Zambia Under-23 National Team camp in Cairo ahead of the Egypt 2019 Africa Cup of Nations that kicks off on Friday.
Russia based Lameck Banda and Kings Kangwa arrived at Cairo International Airport at 10:15 hours aboard Emirates Airlines and were received by Team Manager Mwansa Kapyanga.
The arrival of the duo who are on the books of Arsenal Tula brings the number of foreign based players to five after the joining of Bradley Mweene, Emamnuel Banda and Edward Chilufya.
Coach Beston Chambeshi now has 18 players in camp with only Enock Mwepu, Patson Daka and Fashion Sakala remaining.
The trio will join after Zambia’s opening match against South Africa on Saturday.
Zambia is accommodated at Novotel Hotel and has been holed up in Cairo from Sunday.
