Green Eagles Appoint Perry Mutapa as New Head Coach

Green Eagles Football Club has announced the appointment of Coach Perry Mutapa as the new Head Coach of the club, taking over from Coach Kebby Hachipuka, who has been redeployed by the Zambia National Service. 

Mutapa arrives at Green Eagles with an impressive track record and a wealth of experience in Zambian and regional football.

He is best known for leading NAPSA Stars to victory in the 2022 ABSA Cup, a campaign in which he was voted Coach of the Tournament. 

His coaching résumé includes successful stints with top-tier Super League sides such as Forest Rangers, Power Dynamos, and Lusaka Dynamos.

As a former professional player, Mutapa played for South African giants Orlando Pirates and proudly represented Zambia at both U-20 and senior national team levels. 

This international experience and football intelligence will undoubtedly be beneficial to Green Eagles.

The Green Eagles Executive Committee expressed full confidence in Mutapa’s leadership.

Choma, Zambia – Green Eagles Football Club is proud to announce the appointment of Coach Perry Mutapa as the new Head Coach of the club, taking over from Coach Kebby Hachipuka, who has been redeployed by the Zambia National Service.

Coach Perry Mutapa arrives at Green Eagles with an impressive track record and a wealth of experience in Zambian and regional football.
