Zambia Super League side, Green Buffaloes have released nine players ahead of the start of the 2022/2023 season.
Buffaloes took to social media to confirm the release of defender Gift Wamundila, striker John Goma, winger cum defender Mike Katoba and midfielder Gozon Mutale.
Others are former Zambia U-17 striker Nicholas Mulilo, midfielder Eddie Sinyangwe, Kingsley Mukuka, Nebert Musamba, and Lazarus Muchinga.
The club has also clarified that the released players still belong to them and any team in need of their services should go through the club.
“Green buffaloes wish to confirm the release of the following players: Gift wamundila, Katiba Mike, Eddie sinyangwe, John Goma, Nicholas Mulilo, Kingsley mukuka, Gozon mutale, Lazarus Muchinga, and Nebert musamba.
However, the released players still belong to Green Buffaloes and any team interested in their services to go through Green buffaloes.”
The Zambia army-sponsored outfit has also loaned Youremember Banda to Green Eagles while Jack Ngulube has been loaned to Zesco United on a 2-year loan with an option of extending.
Meanwhile, Nyambe Sitali’s contract came to an end and it won’t be renewed.
The club will soon unveil the newly acquired players. The ZamFoot Crew understands that Mwiza Siwale will lead the list of new players.
