Mamelodi Sundowns Ladies on Thursday qualified to the final of the 2021 Total Energies CAF Women’s Champions League l COSAFA qualifiers after a hard-fought 1-nil victory over Green Buffaloes courtesy of Melinda Kgadiete first-half strike.
The loss means Green Buffaloes’ CAF Women’s Champions League campaign comes to an end and they will now shift their focus to the Inaugural FAZ Women’s national league.
Buffaloes Defender Lushomo Mweemba was voted player of the match after an excellent performance in the game.
Sundowns will now face Black Rhinos on Saturday at 14:00hrs in the final of the 2021 Total Energies CAF Women’s Champions League l COSAFA Qualifiers.
The winner between the two teams will qualify for the CAF Women’s Champions League to be hosted by Egypt in the coming few months.
