Chipolopolo boss Avram Grant has named his 24 member provisional squad for the November 15 AFCON qualifier against Ivory Coast.
Serie A wing wizard Lameck Banda has returned to the Squad after missing last months back to back qualifiers against Chad.
Banda is expected to lead the attack at Levy Mwanawasa Stadium alongside Kennedy Musonda and Kelvin Mubanga Kampamba.
Leicester City forward Patson Daka will miss out of the two matches despite returning to full team training with his club.
Daka suffered an injury in Leicester City’s final preseason friendly match and has been out since.
Grant will also be without midfielder Miguel Chaiwa who is expected to be out for several months due to an ankle injury sustained in Chipolopolo’s goalless draw against Chad at Levy Mwanawasa Stadium.
Others who will miss the next Friday’s encounter are Edward Chilufya, Lubambo Musonda and Fashion Sakala. The trio are nursing injuries.
Youngster Kingston Mutandwa is also out nursing an injury and has been left out of the squad.
The team will enter camp on Monday in Ndola. The Chipolopolo Boys will host Ivory Coast on November 15 at Levy Mwanawasa Stadium at 18h00.
They will then conclude their 2025 AFCON qualification journey four days later against Sierra Leone.

No deadly strikers I do not think we will produce a goal
I am so sure put in proper positions the boys will do something better for their mother Zambia. Yes we have players on injury list the ones who are there will deliver
Kampamba and lameck will help with striking, zunzu, chepeshi and musonda will do defence. Am worried about midfielders especially playing with Big balanced team
good luck to you gents
Wow i wish Zambia powerful and we are going to win this game and I know our home is blessed
