Copper Queens prolific striker Grace Chanda this afternoon left Zambia for Kazakhstan ahead of a move to that country’s Women’s league, defending champions BIIK Kazgurt.
Chanda fondly known as Dangote will team up with countrymate and speedy winger Prisca Chilufya who is already on the books of the Shymkent based side.
Red Arrows Women Football Club and Zambia Under-17 Women’s team manager Madam Clementina Haamubbi Mazuba saw off Chanda as she jetted off from the Kenneth Kaunda International Airport in Lusaka.

BIIK Kazgurt which is a regular campaigner in the UEFA Women’s Champions League has now become a home for Zambians as Chanda becomes the fourth Copper Queens player to join the team since Racheal Kundananji opened doors in 2019 and that was followed by Misozi Zulu and recently Prisca Chilufya.
Chanda is synonymous with scoring goals and was the top goalscorer in the 2020 Tokyo Olympics qualifiers for Africa with eight goals.
Chanda also scored 86 goals in 26 games for ZESCO Ndola Girls in 2018.
