Chipolopolo striker Gamphani Jones Lungu was involved in both goals as Supersport United edged Amazulu in a DSTV Premiership match played on Sunday.
Lungu set up the opener and scored yeh second goal as Matsatsantsa cruised to a 2-1 win at the Lucas Masterpieces Moripe Stadium in Pretoria.
Supersport United broke the deadlock in the 15th minute when Thapelo Maseko netted to hand SuperSport a 1-0 lead after his fellow winger Ghampani Lungu had delivered a great cross.
In the second half, Supersport continued to launch attacks which saw Maseka set-up Lungu who beat February to hand SuperSport a 2-0 lead in the 62nd minute.
Usuthu pulled one back in the 73rd minute when Bonginkosi Ntuli netted with a header following a sublime cross from Thembela Sikhakhane.
The win moves Matsatsantsa to the second spot on the league standings – leapfrogging Orlando Pirates who have a game in hand.
Usuthu remained 12th on the standings after extending their winless run to five matches across all competitions
