Gabon’s Panthers who were expected to arrive in Lusaka last night around 19:00 are now expected to land in Lusaka this afternoon at 13:00.
The Gabonese advance delegation which landed in Lusaka around midday yesterday confirmed to the ZamFoot Crew that the Panthers took off from Libreville at about 08:00 and will land in Lusaka just after 13:00.
The team will fly out of Lusaka soon after the match. The charter was delayed for some logistical reasons but the 58-man delegation of the 2017 AFCON hosts was set and looking forward to the match.
2012 winners Zambia face Gabon at 18:00 at the Heroes Stadium Tuesday evening. Zambia beat Kenya 2-1 in AFCON 2017 qualifying on Sunday in Nairobi while Gabon thrashed Sudan 4-0 in Libreville.
Meanwhile, tickets are selling fast as Lusaka fans get to back Chipolopolo this evening. A check by the ZamFoot crew at selected post offices and Football House found scores of fans buying tickets which are going at K30 all round. FAZ has also announced that tickets will also be sold at the stadium should they still be in stock

Lets just use untested players to expose them on the high laval, players like Nchepeshi, mkhandawile, chilwa, lets lest our big prayers
Boys just go do your thing. Good luck. Where is Kalusha?, when hes not too much involved we seem to be playing better.
They also arrived late in 1995. Zambia will win one nil
Chipolopolo should take this game very serious. Change should be made, Kalaba is always off side, and drops the form of the team. We need Lubambo Musonda to come in. Again Chilwa should be rested .

13:00hrs! What happened to these guys? Last time after Gabon disaster, they came two hours before the match. Is it superstition? Let us not even buy into these antics play a powerful game to symbolize our coming of age for the new team.
