Fwayo Tembo & Clatous Chama axed as Nyirenda names squad to face Algeria

Chipolopolo coach Wedson Nyirenda has named his final 24 man squad that will battle against Algeria in the back to back Russia 2018 World Cup qualifiers to be played in Lusaka and Constantine on 2nd and 5th September respectively.

Coach Wada Wada has axed Clatous Chota Chama and Fwayo Tembo who whose discipline he had called into question prior to the current camp.

Other players dropped include Webster Mulenga (Red Arrows), Boston Muchindu, Moses Nyondo (both Nkana), Billy Mutale, Martin Phiri, Godfrey Ngwenya (all Power Dynamos).

All the foreign based players called to camp have made the team including four U20 players.

At least two U20 players expected to make their national team debut games in this encounter.
