Ivorian striker Michael Freddy Kouablan returned to scoring ways as he netted a brace to help Green Eagles to a 2-1 win over Mutondo Stars.
The double comes after failing to score last weekend against Nkwazi which ended his five match scoring run.
Michael has now scored 14 goals so far this season with nine coming in his last seven games
The win takes the Kawale Boys to sixth place on the log table with 29 points.
At Nkoloma, ZANACO played to a goalless draw with FC MUZA.
In the second match, Nkana suffered yet another defeat as Paul Katema’s first half strike earned the Airmen maximum points.
In Chililabombwe, Konkola Blades beat Nkwazi 2-1 thanks to a Castrol Siakotela goal and a Derrick Mwansa own goal.
Andy Bobwa Boyeli scored the only goal of the game as Power Dynamos beat Prison Leopards 1-0 while Kabwe Warriors edged Forest Rangers thanks to a Prince Mumba strike.
