The Football Association of Zambia (FAZ) has postponed four week 8 games following requests from clubs who have players engaged with the U23 and senior national teams.
FAZ media and communications officer Nkweto Tembwe confirmed this at a press briefing held at Football House on Wednesday morning.
“These teams have players with the national teams in camp. We would also like to urge clubs in future to engage the Football Association whenever they have a considerable number of players with the national team. This must be done in good time,” Tembwe said.
The games postponed are those affecting Green Buffaloes v Napsa Stars, Zesco United v Nkwazi, Zanaco v Mufulira Wanderers and Power Dynamos v Red Arrows.
However other fixtures will proceed on Saturday as scheduled.
