Former Chipolopolo Boys team members Christopher Katongo and Elijah Tana have reunited on the Nkana touchline.
At the 2006 Africa Cup in Egypt, Tana was captain of the national team as Chris and many other young Zambian talents made their AFCON debuts.
Both Tana and Katongo scored a goal at the 2006 Africa Cup.
Tana scored against Guinea though Zambia lost 2-1, while Katongo scored against South Africa to give the Chipolopolo a consolation 1-0 win at the tournament.
Katongo took over the armband at the 2008 AFCON in Ghana.
Presently, Tana and Katongo are serving as Assistant coaches to Nkana head coach Mwenya Chipepo.
Notably, Mwenya Chipepo and Tana were teammates at stylish Roan United under late coach Fordson Kabole.
