Forest Rangers have strengthened their squad ahead of the new season with the signing of 14 players, led by winger Boster Sioma and defender Emmanuel Sakala.
The Ndola-based Forest Rangers, who will compete in the Zambia Premier League (ZPL) Men’s National League, have moved quickly to bolster their squad as they prepare for the new campaign.
Sioma has joined the TimberBoys on a permanent deal and has signed a three-year contract that will keep him at Dola Hill until August 2029.
Sakala, meanwhile, arrives as a free agent after leaving Trident FC. The defender came through the Young ZANACO ranks and has previously featured for Buildcon, Lusaka Dynamos, Kansanshi Dynamos and FC Leopards.
Forest Rangers have also completed a permanent move for Henry Chama following his departure from MTN Super League side Nkwazi.
Chisha Kampamba has joined from Nkana, while former Power Dynamos striker Reagan Mtonga arrives from Konkola Blades. Moses Chindulinga has moved from Muchinga Blue Eagles, with Derrick Lukama joining from Roan United.
The club’s latest announcement also confirmed permanent deals for Joe Chilwana, Alex Mukosha, Emmanuel Chikaza and Watson Mvula.
Given Kambila and Chippa Kamunena have joined on season-long loans running until December 2027, while Joseph Mbulo has also arrived on a loan deal for the same period.
The new arrivals are part of Forest Rangers’ efforts to build a squad capable of competing strongly in the National League as they target promotion to the country’s top flight.
The club described the new recruits as additions to the “TimberBoys family” as preparations for the new season gather pace.
