Forest Rangers shake-up technical bench

Zambia Super League side, Forest Rangers has appointed Kennedy Kashobondo as assistant coach for the remainder of the season, the club has confirmed.

The appointment comes shortly after the club part ways with Dominic Changwe who was assistant coach at the club.

Changwe was acting head coach after the derpature of Tenant Chembo leading Fole Malembe in six matches winning just one, drawing two, losing the other three.

The team managed to score only 3 goals and conceded 6 managing to collect 6 points from a possible 18 points.

“Forest Rangers Football Club has appointed Mr. Kennedy Kashobondo as assistant coach for the remainder of the season, effective immediately, following the club’s mutual separation with Coach Dominic Changwe.

Mr. Kashobondo is the former MUZA FC Head Coach and was part of the technical bench that qualified MUZA FC to the super league during the transitional league.”

Kashobondo will reunite with Ian Bakala who he worked with previously at Lusaka Dynamos in 2016.

Forest Rangers are currently 13th on the super division league table with 8 games to go and this weekend they will make a short trip to the trade fair grounds to face Indeni in a Ndola derby.
