Forest Rangers hoping to continue good run over Warriors to maintain unbeaten streak

The MTN/FAZ Super League action continues this afternoon with two mouth-watering rescheduled encounters as Power Dynamos host Sensational Zanaco and Kabwe Warriors welcome Forest Rangers.

Forest Rangers will be looking to continue where they left off on Thursday when they managed a narrow 1-0 win away at Arthur Davies Stadium. A win for the Tenant Chilumba tutored side can see them go top of the log if Power Dynamos beat Zanaco in the other game of today.

Forest Rangers remain the only unbeaten team in the 2020/2021 MTN/FAZ Super League with four wins and four draws from the eight games they have played so far.

Kabwe Warriors have been very inconsistent this season and they will hope to use home advantage to return to winning ways. A win will take them some places up and closer to the top four.

PLAYERS TO WATCH

Ali Sadiki: The Zimbabwean midfielder will once again be very key for the Magnificent People’s team. His goals and assists have always come in handy for Warriors.

Prince Mumba: The Zambia U-20 national team skipper is a player many may not pay a lot of attention to because of his small stature but his resilience and resolve is something Levy ‘Chabby’ Chabala and his technical bench can always rely on to help them secure a positive result as Power Dynamos learned the hardway about two weeks ago.

AKA & Jimmy: Akakulubelwa Mwachiaba and Jimmy Ndhlovu upfront provide a constant threat and Forest Rangers will have to find a way to keep them at bay.

Mpho: The South African midfielder is a lively player that most of the time dictates the pace of the game and gives Fole Malembe an urge over their opponents. The Warriors midfield and defense need to be very alert to keep him away from dangerous areas because he can pick out a pass, dribble, run past defenders, and score.

Muzaza: Webster Muzaza has always been an integral part of the Fole Malembe step up and is a key player in the middle of the park that Kabwe Warriors should watch carefully.

Fole Malembe has dominated this fixture winning five games in the last eight meetings losing just two with the last meeting early this year ending in a barren draw.

The Magnificent People’s team last beat Fole Malembe on 22nd April 2018, 2-0 thanks to goals from Heritier Nkoko and Emmanuel Okutu.
