2012 AFCON winner Isaac Chansa has been elevated to the position of assistant coach/player by Forest Rangers management.
According to a statement made available to the ZamFoot Crew, Chansa will deputize newly appointed interim coach Owen Kaposa. This follows the departure of Perry Mutapa and Masauso Tembo who were head and assistant coach respectively.

“Forest Rangers Football Club would like to announce the appointment of Owen Kaposa as the Interim coach and Isaac Chansa as assistant coach/player.” read part of a statement from Forest Rangers accessed by the ZamFoot Crew.
The duo will be in charge of the Fole Malembe squad as the club continues their search for a new head coach.
“We have full confidence in the two to take his forward as the search for a new head coach is underway. We will make a further announcement when that process is complete.”
Kaposa and Chansa will start their tenure this afternoon when Fole Malembe host Kansanshi Dynamos at 13:00hrs in a week 13 MTN/FAZ Super League encounter.
