FAZ Women’s league: Buoyant Eagles coach declares his charges ready for Yasa clash

Green Eagles Head Coach Simon Kayombo has declared his charges ready for this weekend’s Week 23 Football Association of Zambia (FAZ) Women’s League encounter away to Yasa.

Speaking in an Interview with the ZamFoot Crew, Kayombo admitted that it is not going to be an easy game but he is optimistic of picking up maximum points and he has urged his strikers to rise to the occasion.

“It is going to be a tough game. Looking at Yasa, they are currently doing fine and they will be playing at their home ground and then their pitch is different from Ours so it’s not going to be easy for us but we are definitely going to win,” KayombI said.

Kayombo told the ZamFoot Crew that drawing against Nkwazi in a midweek rescheduled game was not very easy and he is optimistic his team will work harder against Yasa.

“Nkwazi is a big team, it wasn’t easy picking up a point especially playing away from home but the girls played according to our game plan.”

Kayombo was happy with his teams’ performance and fighting spirit against the Police outfit drawing 1 – 1 and has called on teamwork ahead of the mouthwatering clash.

The ZNS Sponsored outfit will be banking on the likes of their Speedy Winger Trynes Change and Tamara Mbewe, the holding midfielder for the interceptions, much-needed cover in front of the back 4 as well as ball distribution upfront as she was exceptional in the game against Nkwazi.

Green Eagles will Visit Yasa Queens at Yasa Grounds on Saturday 27th July 2019 and the game is scheduled to Kick Off at 10.00hrs.
