FAZ Women League: Week 10 comes alive as Assembly welcome BUSA, YASA battle Lusaka Dynamos as Wanderers welcome Indeni Roses

National Assembly will this afternoon welcome Bauleni United Sports Academy (BUSA), Queens, at the Showgrounds in a match week 10 of the 2020/21 FAZ Women’s Super League encounter which is the only game that is expected to be played today while three games will be played tomorrow with the other three postponed.

The Parliamentarians who are coming from a hard-fought 1-nil victory over Queens Academy last weekend will be bubbling with confidence because they are fully aware that a win will push them up on the log standing with only a point behind log leaders Green Buffaloes who are not in action.

On the other hand, BUSA Queens has not had a very impressive start to the season and they only have a win to their name, and this could just be another stern challenge for them to prove they are indeed Giant Killers and they will be going into this game with a mindset of winning because they know they can’t afford to drop points in this Lusaka Derby with kick-off set at 15:00hrs.

Week 10 action will continue tomorrow Sunday, 16th May 2021 with three mouthwatering encounters already lined up for us, two games in Lusaka and one on the Copperbelt Province.

At Imboela Stadium, rejuvenated Nkwazi Queens will have a tricky tie when they welcome Queens Academy in a game that promises to be very interesting considering how both sides have been fairing in the league so far with only 1 point separating these two sides on the log standing with Nkwazi being the better side.

This will be the first-ever meeting between High Flying Nkwazi and The Queens of Kabwe so a lot is at stake in terms of bragging rights and the match can go either way and will kick-off at 10:00hrs.

Later in the afternoon, all Roads will lead to Lusaka’s Hospice Ground for a super Sunday clash between Stubborn YASA Queens and The Elite Lusaka Dynamos in a battle of supremacy and bragging rights as this will be the 3rd meeting between these two sides with The Elite Ladies stamping authority, so YASA will be hoping to revenge those defeats with a victory especially that they will be at home while on paper The Elite are favorites to grab maximum points.

However, expectations from both sides are very high because this match promises to produce sparks in all angles as both sides are still unbeaten going into this game.

Elsewhere in Ndola, Indeni Roses’ new Coach Wisdom Kaira will start his new journey with the Roses when they travel to Mufulira to lock horns with Mufulira Wanderers at Shinde Stadium.

The Roses are coming from a tough 1-1 draw against ZESCO Ndola Girls and they will be hoping to make amends in this fixture which they can not afford to drop points but coming up against The Mighty Girls won’t be easy for them because Wanderers has proved to be a very hard nut to beat at their home ground and will wait and see what will happen tomorrow with the kick-off of the game set at 15:00hrs.
