The Football Association of Zambia in Western Province has become the ninth province to elect a new executive committee for the period 2025-2029 with David Simwinga retaining his seat after going through unopposed.
For the vice chairmanship Mulonda Mukubonda beat Musasa by 31 to 21 votes while Namakau Mooto lost her position as women representative after falling by 36 to 16 votes to Sandra Mbambi.
Lisulo Lisulo has been elected youth representative after beating Muyendekwa Muyendekwa by 38 to 14 votes.
George Daka went through unopposed as committee member to complete the full line up for the next four years. M
The attention will shift to Eastern Province for the final provincial assembly on Thursday.
FAZ holds its elective AGM on March 29 in Livingstone at Fairmount Hotel.
FIFA will seen a representative at the elective AGM in Livingstone to see out the electoral process that they approved.
