Kabwe Warriors coach Mohammed Fathy has accused the Football Association of Zambia (FAZ) as well as the referees and Supersport of conspiring to see his team demoted to division one.
Speaking after seeing his team fail to win at home when they drew with Zanaco yesterday, an emotionally charged Fathy said it was not fair that his team has not received television coverage since the league started.
“Its not fair from FAZ or Supersport or whoever is responsible for chosing TV games. Its not fair for Kabwe Warriors, up to now there is not even one game for Warriors on TV either at home or away,” the Egyptian mentor told ZANIS.
“I need to be on Supersport to motivate my players like the other teams,” he added.
“And we have bad officiating. People want to cover [suppress] Warriors by all means.
“I don’t know why. I don’t want him to favor me but to be fair.”
“They want us to go back to division one…. We are not going back to division one. We will fight, this is a big a club. I will fight for this team since I am head coach,” a livid Fathy concluded.
Kabwe Warriors are 8th on the log having won on three games out of 11 played.
They have only won once in their last five games.
They host Green Eagles in their next match.

I think officials from referee Association are still hating warriors todate,those boardroom decisions to drop warriors by FaZ in 2014 were malicious decisions by Kalusha Bwalya administration,its a hangover of referees from that time ,yes they hate kabwe warriors its true.but we hope Kamanga will talk to his lieutenants especially referees to stop this nosense,why hating a team?

Is this coach really serious does Faz or Supersport play in the games. When I read that headline I thought he would complain of many games being played by walya nganga. How can he accuse Faz with AK as former chairman of the club. Just work hard on your team bwana coach otherwise the team will show you the exit door very soon seems you have run out of ideas

The brought forward officials including referees are a suspect for bad officiating at warriors games NoT we threfore request the new president to take note as former chairman.

Copperbelt is not a footballing province. Lusaka is has more consisted teams than copperbelt.This depends on sponcership of teams.
@ lubasi, give us a list of players groomed from the youth at zanaco or gbfc that have gone to make it for zambia on the international scene. You watch a game between Nkana and zanaco at sunset and see which team looks at home. Their is no football in lsk my friend compared to cb

Sikazwe is the worst referee in Zambia. The game doesn’t end without either a penalty or red card.He doesn’t do this when officiating outside Zambia. Why?
Fathy is right.If supersport can televise the games involving the tail enders M.Blackpool more than three times what about Warriors?Be fair supersport.

Don’t put the names of teams in ridicules when we are talking hates over Kabwe warriors-they are many unidentified young players country wide-Football Academies are not all attached to premier league teams and its not mandatory to do that because of clubs financial hardships.
