The Football Association of Zambia -FAZ- has called on the Chipolopolo to reflect on their early exit from the African Nations Championship -CHAN- and use the experience to improve in future competitions.
FAZ General Secretary Machacha Shepande says it is important for the team to learn from both the positives and shortcomings of the campaign.
He says while expectations were high, the team’s failure to deliver was disappointing for Zambian football.
The Chipolopolo Boys lost all the four games at the CHAN 2024 in Kenya.
From all the participating sides, Zambia was the only ranked the 19, after the disastrous campaign.
Avram Grant’s men only scored 2 goals and conceded 8.
Attention will now shift to the World Cup qualifiers in September
