The Football Association of Zambia, FAZ has opened an Inquiry into the alleged sexual abuse of women’s football in Zambia trending on social media.
FAZ General Secretary, Adrian Kashala says the Association has taken note of the allegations although there has been no record of an official complaint brought forward.
Kashala says the FA will collaborate with the Zambia Police Service and other relevant stakeholders in dealing with this matter.
In a statement availed to ZNBC Sports News Kashala said anyone with useful information on the matter should come forward and report either to FAZ or law enforcement agencies.
And, Sports Elvis Nkandu said anyone with a lead into the matter should provide evidence so that the investigations are conducted.
Nkandu said it is important that the truth is availed in the matter so that the issues can be addressed.
