FAZ GS: Players told To work hard to keep positions in team

Football Association of Zambia -FAZ-General Secretary Reuben Kamanga has urged all players who have been given a chance to represent the country to work hard as all positions are competitive.

Speaking after he watched the Under 17 Girls All Stars versus The Rest match which ended 2-2 at Sunset stadium, Kamanga said no position in teams is permanent and players must prove why they should be selected.

The FAZ General Secretary says he was impressed by the display form of both teams.

He said the technical staff will scrutinize the teams and select the best players who will form an under 17 side.

And Copper Queens Assistant Coach Florence Mwila urged the girls to keep working hard as they have what it takes to become future stars.

Copper Queens Striker Barbra Banda told the players to remain disciplined if they are to have successful careers.

And Under 17 Coach Naomi Phiri urged the girls to keep working hard so that they don’t drop momentum once the final squad is selected.
