Napsa Stars gaffer Muhammad Fathi heaped praise on brace hero Laudit Mavugo following his splendid performance against Nkwazi on Sunday at Woodlands Stadium.
Fathi told the ZamFoot Crew in an interview that he was expecting Mavugo to play well because he is a professional player who can easily adapt.
“That’s why we brought him. He is a Burundi national team player, He is a professional. He can adapt easily and he played at Simba before so he is used to playing in foreign land,” he said.
Fathi was tight lipped when asked about mistakes from his players as he thought it was best to work on them in training.
“Not many negative points though we will work on them in training,” he said.
Napsa Stars kicked off their 2019 transitional league campaign with a two nil win thanks to a first half brace from Burundian striker Mavugo.
