Fathi disappointed with Napsa’s draw against Eagles

Napsa Stars Football Club played to a one-all draw against Green Eagles Football Club at Woodlands Stadium in Lusaka on Sunday.

Speaking to the ZamFoot Crew after the game, Napsa Stars Head Coach Muhammad Fathi expressed disappointment with collecting a point but noted progress from his team.

“If you look at the progress from camp, We coming from a loss and this draw gives us a point. I am not happy with a point but I think if you look at the fact that we coming from a loss, a draw is a step to start winning games,” he said.

The Napsa Stars coach described the league as being too open for anyone’s team and far from being over.

“The league is still open and is not yet over.”

Napsa Stars took the lead barely two minutes into the match through Bornwell Mwape who netted from outside the 18-yard area. Gozon Mutale leveled matters five minutes into the second half, Slotting home inside the area following a poor clearance from the Napsa defense.
