Fashion set to complete move to Belgium

Chipolopolo winger Fashion Sakala is in Belgium undergoing a medical at KV Oostende.

The former Zanaco man will transfer from Russian side Spartak Moscow reserve side after spending a year in Eastern Europe.

Should he complete a move to Oostende he will join compatriot Emmanuel Banda at the club.

Recently, the Belgian side lost Andile Jali  and Knowledge Musona of South Africa and Zimbabwe respectively.

The boy from Kum’awa is seen as a direct replacement for the Zimbabwean hot shot who since joined Anderleit.

Fashion will join a long list of Zambian players who have campaigned in the Jupiter League.

Striker Rodger Kola played 22 times for Gent and scored a goal while former Zambia internationals duo Ian Bakala and Elijah Tana had trials in 2008.

Zambian greats Kalusha ‘Great Kalu’ Bwalya, Charles ‘Charlie Cool’ Musonda, Lucky ‘Muchofe’ Msiska and Stone Nyirenda played in Belgium in the late 80s to the early 90s.
