Zambian striker Fashion Sakala is reportedly being eyed by Scottish giants Rangers as he is high on Steven Gerrard’s wanted list.
According to the Daily Record Steven Gerrard’s scouts flagged up the Zambia national team forward’s performances in Belgium. Rangers are said to be eyeing a pre-contract move for Sakala whose KV Oostende contract comes to an end in July.
The 23-year-old has attracted interest from several clubs, including Anderlecht, and he has been heavily linked with Newcastle and West Ham United in recent months.
The ‘Showman’ has had a spell in Russia with Spartak Moscow although he played the majority of his time there for Moskva II before Oostende decided to buy him.
