Zambian forward Fashion Sakala came off the bench to score in Rangers’ 3-0 win over Dundee.
The victory sees Rangers advance to the semi finals of the Scottish Cup.
Connor Goldson and a James Tavernier penalty gave the Gers a 2-0 first half lead.
Sakala made it 3-0 with a late goal to seal victory for Rangers.
Following a fast break, Sakala scored in the 87th minute from a left footed shot inside the box fr a superb assist by Alex Lowry.
The goal came as a massive relief for Sakala, who had several other chances including a 55th minute effort that produced a great point-blank save from Sharp in the hosts’ goal.
This afternoon’s goal takes Fashion Sakala’s tally for the season to 10 goals in all competitions.
