Former TP Mazembe goalkeeper Agnes Fabiola Banda has joined Eden University Women’s Super League side Nchanga Rangers Queens as a free agent.
Banda joins Nchanga Rangers Queens following the expiration of her contract with DR Congo outfit.
“Agness “Fabiola” Banda has joined Nchanga Rangers Queens Football Club as a free agent, bolstering the women’s team in the Super League.”
Club Technical Director Peter Sakala believes the addition of the 2022 COSAFA gold medalist will contribute to the team’s success.
“I’m also delighted to see Agness join our women’s team. She’s a talented player who will undoubtedly make a significant contribution to the team’s success,” Sakala said.
Banda has been a free agent since October last year when her contract with DR Congo giants TP Mazembe came to end.
Banda joined Mazembe in March 2023 from, National Assembly. The University of Zambia graduate had an impressive one year and six months at the club winning seven trophies.
She played 24 games and kept 22 clean sheets and only allowed 3 goals.
At national team level she is yet to make her debut. She was part of the 2022 COSAFA winning squad.
I would like to see her in goal for the national team.
