Evans Kangwa, Moses Phiri score

Evans Kangwa was on target in the Ligat ha’Al but his goal was not enough to help his club Hapoel Ra’anana avoid a 3 – 2 loss at home to Bnei Sakhnin.

This was Kangwa’s 11th goal of the campaign.

Emmanuel Mbola again completed 90 minute for Hapoel Ra’anana.

Moses Phiri opened his European goal scoring account when he scored for his Segunda Liga Academico Viseu club in their 2 – 1 loss to Chaves.

Academico are slowly slipping close to the relegation zone.

Despite contributing a goal and winning praises from his coach Stopilla Sunzu was back on the bench for Lille when they secured a 5th consecutive win which took them to 7th position on the log.

This was after they beat Monaco 4 – 1 at home.

Ronald Kampamba was again not on the bench when Lierse beat Tubize 2 – 1.

 

Rogers Kola is not yet back with the first team after an injury lay-off.

 

In China, James Chamanga played 61 minutes when his club Liaoning Whowin lost 4 – 0 to Shanghai SIPG.

Chamanga has played 4 out of 4 games scoring one goal.

Jacob Mulenga also played 90 minutes for his Chinese club Shijiazhuang Ever Bright when they drew 1 – 1 against Chonfqing Lifan.

Mulenga who was yellow carded in the 7th minute of injury time has started and played all the four games for his team this team without being substituted.

Ural midfielder Chisamba Lungu is not yet back to first action and missed his team’s severe 6 – 0 bashing at the hands of Krasnodar.

The Zambia striker however came off the bench in the 85th minute.

Winstone Kalengo was in action for AC Leopards but was not on target when they won 1 – 0 away at Saint Michel. Lakolo Herman scored the only goal of the match.

In South Africa both Davies Nkausu and Mwape Musonda did not make the bench when their teams Bloemfontein Celtic and Golden Arrows drew 0 – 0.

Collins Mbesuma and Mukuka Mulenga’s Mpumalana Black Aces will be in action on Tuesday.

Allan Mukuka played the last 11 minuted for Amazulu in their 2 – 0 home loss to Thanda Royal Zulu. Bornwell Mwape did not play.

Continental Football

Kennedy Mweene watched from the bench as Mamelodi Sundowns conceded a goal in injury time to lose 1 – 0 to AS Vita of Congo.

Emmanuel Mayuka was not named in the starting line-up for Zamalek when they won 2 – 0 at home in the CAF Champions League against MO Bejaia of Algeria.

As already reported, Rainford Kalaba, Nathan Sinkala and Kabaso Chongo were all in action for TP Mazembe in their 2 – 0 loss to Wydad Casablanca of Moroco.

  2. Good that Moses is finally off the mark in Portugal. Reading everything here only the Moses and Evans news is good. Lets hope next week we have a better story on players abroad. Not a single one of our foreign contingent were on a winning side and too many did not even make first team appearances.

  3. Well done Moses Phiri. The goal will do his confidence good.Besides that, he should work harder in training so he becomes a first team regular.
