New signings Youremember Banda and Lazarous Muchinga have made the cut for Green Buffaloes 18 man squad that has left for Egypt ahead of this weekend’s CAF
The two were part of Bilton Musonda’s reinforcements for 2018 Super league season and the CAF Confederation cup.
The Bilton Musonda tutored side left Lusaka for Egypt via Addis aboard an Ethiopian Airline flight at 1330hours .The team will connect from Addis to Cairo at 2200hours where they will connect at 0230hs early morning tomorrow for Portsaid where the match will be played on Saturday 10th February, 2018 at 1900 PM local time.

Their discipline from the top to the bottom is a marvel. In the recent past, Green Buffaloes have been demonstrating on how good soccer should be played – this team can really knock the ball around – My word! Their pace and accuracy in passing and ball control is a SERIOUS wow! No wonder at one point early last season,the former ZESCO coach said they where the best team in technical terms – and that’s why i like them. From this background, I seriously get chocked with anger in the recent times whenever Chipolopolo try stringing their terrible passes – long searching miss directed ones; Pri school ball control coupled with delays in releasing the ball. The should be going to GBFC for lesson. Ba Wada lolekeshenipo! Otherwise hats off to Bilton Musonda, Charles Bwale na ba CK 11.
Chris Katongo has put on weight. Hope he is studying for some coaching qualification otherwise, time to retire even pa club level.
Katongo is one of Buffaloes assistants. He is currently pursuing a coaching career hence attached to the technical beach.
